Orel power engineers of IDGC of Centre - for electrical safety

15.06.2012

Specialists of IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division organized a lesson on electrical safety for schoolchildren in 4-7 grades, who are resting in the sanatorium "Orlovchanka".

Conducting such studies is one of the most effective measures for the prevention of injuries associated with electric shock. Power engineers not just tell the kids about the dangers of electricity, but also demonstrate educational cartoons, handing out books with instructions for use of household appliances and the behavior near power facilities.

At this time during the lesson Head of Occupational Health and Environmental Safety of the branch Andrey Sharin showed the method of first aid for electric shock on the simulator "Gosha".

"These classes are especially useful for children during summer holidays, when schoolchildren are under less adult supervision, — says Head of Customer Service of the branch Zhanna Peshekhonova. — I'm sure the children have learned a lot of useful information and will not forget the simple truths of electrical safety, which will help keep their health and lives".
