Districts of Electrical Networks of Orelenergo picked up the slack of the Victory Banner Relay On the territory of Krivtsovsky memorial, located in Bolkhovsky district of the Orel region there were the celebrations dedicated to the historical and memorial action "Victory Banner Relay". Director of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division Alexander Letyagin passed for eternal storage to all Districts of Electrical Networks of the branch 24 replicas of the legendary Banner of Victory, erected on the vanquished Reichstag by the soldiers of Idritsky division in May 1945.
Passing the replicas of the symbol of courage and heroism of Soviet people Alexander Letyagin stressed: "In our time it is important to preserve the memory of the most important events in the country’s history. I wish each of you to remember and tell at home, in the company, their relatives and friends about how the Victory Banner was seen by those who fought to the last gasp for the Victory".
The celebrations, dedicated to the transfer of the replicas of the Victory Banner to the Districts of Electrical Networks of the branch, were held with the participation of the Veterans’ and Youth Councils of Orelenergo, management and employees of the company, Head of the Bolkhovsky district administration and participants of the international journalists' rally "Roads of War", who on the eve of Victory Day drove the replica of the legendary Victory Banner of the IDGC of Centre – Orelenergo division through 6 countries.
