Tver power engineers of IDGC of Centre received gratitude

The electricity supply of the Tver region, interrupted by the passage of a storm front through the territories of the Central Federal District, including the Tver region, was quickly restored by power engineers of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division.

The restoration of the electricity supply of Kalyazinsky district, largely affected by the raging weather, took no more than a day. Mobile crews of Tvernergo performed restoration work around the clock. The head of the district, Konstantin Ilyin expressed appreciation to Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division director Alexander Eyst: “The Administration of Kalyazinsky district and its residents heartily thank you for the efficient organization of work in the aftermath of the raging weather. Thanks to the concerted action of employees of Tverenergo serious consequences of the electricity outage were avoided. Critical infrastructure facilities of the city and a larger part of the population of the town of Kalyazin had their electricity resupplied in a few hours”. Please, be reminded that on May 12-13, strong winds up to 23 m/s, thunder and rain caused the fall of trees onto power lines.

According to Deputy Chief of Russia’s State Emergency on crisis management in the Tver region, Lieutenant Colonel Vasily Asotov, thanks to the rapid interaction of Emergency Services and power engineers of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division the electricity supply was restored as soon as possible in the Tver region. In the first place socially significant facilities were connected. The activity of the operational headquarters that supervised the progress of restoration work, once again showed that only concerted actions by all participants of liquidation of bad weather consequences ensure reliable operation of the power system. He was grateful for the competence and professionalism of both managers and maintenance personnel of the electric grid company.
