IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division summed up the work in the field of occupational health and safety. In 2011, the branch spent more than 25 million rubles on activities under the program to reduce workplace injuries and improve the OSH management system.
Tverenergo created a system of checks of state and conditions of labor in the Districts of Electrical Networks. At the end of last year more than 16.7 million rubles were invested in the purchase of personal protective equipment, tools and appliances, the branch spent 1.59 million rubles on the improvement of working conditions and more than 2.7 million rubles on sanitation measures to prevent diseases in the workplace.
Work on labor protection and the prevention of injuries is organized in accordance with the OSH management system. Constant monitoring is organized in Tverenergo over equipping crews with protective equipment and devices for the safe performance of work and the staff has classes on first aid.
Medical examinations of drivers are regularly conducted and daily monitoring of technical condition of vehicles before leaving for the route and when returning to a parking lot is performed.
Within the program to reduce electric injuries of third parties in 2012 there will be sessions held with pupils and students with the involvement of employees of branches, with the use of available video and photo media of IDGC of Centre.
One of the important tasks in the field of occupational health in the coming year will be the certification of workplaces. Tverenergo plans to spend more than 390 thousand rubles on this measure.
