Specialists of IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division summed up the work on technological connection of consumers to the grid of the branch in 2011. Last year the division received more than 6700 applications for technological connection of power receivers of the applicants.
All in all, last year the branch received over 57,000 calls of consumers on issues related to electricity supply. Specialists noted a rapid growth and an increase in calls by 62% against 2010 (in 2010 this figure amounted to 35 575 requests).
For the reporting period IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division concluded 4713 agreements on the technological connection with the total capacity of 177, 75 MW. In the same period the branch performed 4178 technological connections to the grid of the total capacity of 213.158 MW with account of OJSC “Quadra”.
According to experts, such a significant increase is due to the development of small and medium size businesses in the region, the growth of individual housing construction and other large commercial, industrial, agricultural and social facilities.
In addition, experts attributed the growth of the number of requests to the regular ongoing activities on informing the customers about the services provided by IDGC of Centre and changes in legislation of the Russian Federation.
