Specialists of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division in conjunction with members of the National Program “In the bosom of your family” had a celebration and presentation of the publication “Our Yard Games” at secondary school # 6 of Kursk. The event was attended by over 200 schoolchildren and teachers.
The nationwide program “In the bosom of your family” was developed in 2004 and is aimed at preserving the historical heritage of Russia and the creation of an atmosphere of respect in the society to traditional spiritual and moral values. Currently, the program has involved 10 regions of the country. “In the bosom of your family” supports the creation of pre-conditions for education of children and youth in the spirit of charity, loyalty and courage, respect for national heroes and the history of Russia. Director General of IDGC Holding Nikolay Shvets is a member of the board of trustees of the program.
“The main goal of our work within the program ‘In the bosom of your family’ is a revival in the younger generation of moral values. This is especially important today, when it is necessary to educate and reinforce in our children moral values, responsibility and kindness”, — stressed the Program’s President Alexander Kovtunets.
During the presentation of the collection the power engineers and program’s participants told the schoolchildren about the most popular yard games of childhood of their parents, grandparents, and the students — future teachers — showed how these games were played at different times.
During the games in the yard it is very important to behave properly in the vicinity of power facilities, so the experts of Kurskenergo reminded the children about the basic rules of electrical safety. In simple terms they also explained to the pupils how to use electrical appliances at home safely, showed the video “Electrical safety lesson” and presented colorful reminders.
Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division director Alexander Pilyugin stressed: “IDGC of Centre has a lot of good traditions, strong reliable dynasties, who are the basis of a favorable morale and industrial success of the Company. The values of the National Program ‘In the bosom of your family’ are close and clear to us, so we decided to support our partners and take an active part in the project ‘Our Yard Games’ at the Kursk land”.
“There are people who are interested in promoting such a great idea, like ‘In the bosom of your family’. We receive help, for example, from Kurskenergo and everybody related to energy — these companies help us a lot, we are friends with them,”- stressed People’s Artist of Russia Valery Zolotukhin, art director of the National Program “In the bosom of your family”.
In the Museum of the History of Energy of the Kursk Region Valery Zolotukhin presented the book “Smithereens” to the Kursk power engineers with the wishes of good luck and prosperity.
