The repair campaign has started in Lipetskenergo

Specialists of IDGC of Centre — Lipetskenergo division have begun performing their planned repair work. This year the repair campaign will be carried out traditionally in several areas. Lipetskenergo will spend 128 million rubles on major overhaul of eight 35/110 kV substations (SS), on element by element current maintenance of 61 SS 35/110 kV, on repair of 140 package transformer substations of 10/0,4 kV, replacement of 1504 poles of power lines and ROW clearing of 308 hectares along overhead power lines (OPL) of 6-110 kV.

The greatest amount of work will be performed in 2012 by Eletsky District of ​​Electrical Networks (DEN). This is due to the need to improve the reliability of power supply to the actively growing municipality in whose territory several significant investment projects in industry and tourism have been implemented. According to the repair program of this DEN it is planned to maintain 30.2 km of overhead power lines of 0,4 — 10 kV, 67 transformer substations, ROW clearing of 60.4 hectares along OPL — 10 kV, and repair of buildings and structures. This will require financial investments in the amount of 9.3 million rubles.

A properly organized and well executed repair program is a prerequisite for reliable operation of the power complex of the region.
