IDGC of Centre — Kostromaenergo division received 18 letters of appreciation in the name of the branch manager Alexander Glebov and chief engineer Evgeny Smirnov. Heads of administrations of cities and districts of the Kostroma region are grateful to the power engineers for the reliable and uninterrupted power supply in the region on the Election Day of President of the Russian Federation on March 4, 2012.
The letters marked the responsibility and professionalism of Districts of Electrical Networks of Kostromaenergo, clear and coordinated work to prepare for the Election Day, readiness at any time to provide any necessary assistance. “Thank you for your professional work, energy and effort that you give to your labour of love. We hope for further cooperation!”- says one of the letters of gratitude.
On the single voting day in the Kostroma region the power engineers of IDGC of Centre organized 83 crews on duty. They included substation, line crews, relay protection, automation, measurement and metrology service teams. For a quick response to possible interruptions in the electricity supply 182 generators were prepared. Communication was set with all the 619 polling stations in the Kostroma region.
Thanks to the work of the power engineers in preparation for the elections and effective cooperation of Kostromaenergo with local administrations, the Election Day passed without major power supply interruptions.
