Specialists of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division summed up the work on technological connection for the past year. The total amount of requests submitted for the technological connection in 2011 grew up by 46% and amounted to 6351 requests. In total for the past period 5137 contracts have been concluded that exceeds the previous year by 48%, the total customer contract demand has grown up by 66.3 MW.
According to Head of technological connection Office of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division Andrey Doronin the increase in the number of applicants is due to the growth of individual and apartment housing construction. The indicator of the customer contract demand has increased largely due to a major investment project — construction of the plant «Hitachi», which in 2011 was connected to the grid of the branch.
Since the beginning of 2011 Tverenergo connected a number of large industrial and social facilities in Tver and Tver region. One of the most important for the development of the region was a production shop of brake equipment of OJSC «Rhythm TPTA» with its connected capacity of 2 MW. Opening of a new modern production has allowed to create more jobs and increase tax revenues to the regional budget. In the course of work on the technological connection of the enterprise the 110/10 kV «Mechanical Plant» substation was reconstructed.
Other important facilities that were implemented over the past year were OJSC «Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Scientific-Research Institute of Applied Acoustics» (Konakovsky district) — 1.8 MW (for the technological connection of the enterprise IDGC of Centre -Tverenergo division constructed a 12 km overhead line of 10 kV), and LLC «Hexa-woven materials» — 2 MW.
Construction of power facilities is done with the use of modern technologies and materials. Cross-linked polyethylene cable, reliable self-supporting insulated wire, remote metering and distribution cabinets, where electric meters of residential customers are located, are used.
Total for 2012 Tver power engineers plan to connect to its grid about two thousand electric installations of customers, including individual housing construction sites, industrial and agro-industrial facilities: OJSC «Special Economic Zones» in the city of Dubna, ZAO Plemzavod «Zavolzhskoye».
