Investments in the power complex of Orel region is a guarantee of quality power supply to consumers

In 2012, IDGC of Centre is investing more than 655 million rubles in the development of the electric grid of the Orel region. About half of this amount will be invested by power engineers of IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division in the security of electric grid facilities, technological connection of consumers, and implementation of energy saving technologies. The remaining funds will be used to increase the reliability of the grid of the branch by means of modernization and reconstruction.

This year, power engineers of Orel branch of IDGC of Centre plan to reconstruct 50 km of high voltage lines of 10/0,4 kV, install arc protection, remote control of 110 kV substations, reconstruct 110 kV high voltage transmission lines with the installation of temperature monitoring systems.

“Renovation of the equipment will not only increase reliability of power supply to the existing industrial and agricultural enterprises, social facilities and population of the Orel region, but also expand opportunities for technological connection of new consumers”, — said Head of Investment Office of Orelenergo Boris Morozov.
