Additional services of Bryanskenergo are in demand

Last year, IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division concluded nearly eight and a half thousand contracts for the provision of additional services to the population of the Bryansk region. This indicator is one and a half thousand more than in 2010.

The most popular in the past year was the service of installation and replacement of meters. Over the past year 7649 such contracts were concluded.

Last year the service of outdoor lighting was of great demand among residents in the region. 65 contracts were signed for the maintenance of street lighting networks, which is by 14 contracts higher than in 2010. The list of services for outdoor lighting operation includes works to replace lighting fixtures, lamps, start-control devices in lighting fixtures and lamp brackets. In the service area of Bryanskenergo there are 1859 street lights. Contracts for street lighting maintenance for the current year were signed with half districts of the Bryansk region.

Revenue of the branch from the provision of additional services in 2011 amounted to 35.9 million rubles, which is 3.8 million more than in 2010. Compared with 2010 almost the revenues from the provision of services to support new connections increased eight times and from providing street lighting services — twice.

IDGC of Centre operates the Direct Power Hot Line at 8-800-50-50-115 (toll free), through which customers can get expert advice on electricity supply issues, learn about additional services, clarify information on planned outages, report theft of equipment and electricity, and leave reviews. For example, in 2011 the Direct Power Hot Line received 7 448 calls from residents of the Bryansk region. Of these, 655 calls were related to the provision of additional services.
