Over the past year IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division received about 43 thousand applications from customers, which is two times more compared to 2010.
During that period Orelenergo concluded 2049 contracts with customers for technological connection to the electric grid, the previous year’s indicator got improved by 27%. The total capacity of these contracts amounted to 45.64 MW. This is due to the active work of power engineers of the branch with customers, as well as t directly affects the development of various sectors of the economy of the Orel region.
Specialists of the branch filed over 7000 requests for additional services, which indicate the relevance of this activity of the branch. More than 6500 customers have requested replacement and calibration of electricity meters. About 700 customers requested tree edging, replacing crossovers and poles and reported of electricity theft, which could affect the quality of power supply.
Popular service of the branch by the region’s population is the construction, maintenance and repair of street lighting with the installation and replacement of poles, lighting lamps and operation and maintenance of street lighting in districts of the region. The largest project on operation and maintenance of street lighting has been implemented in Mtsensk.
“Not only have our production indicators grown, but the number of positive reviews from customers. Over the past year more than 1,250 customers expressed their gratitude to the staff of Orelenergo. Our work is aimed at improving the service quality, to increase the speed of execution of work on the applications. The emphasis in 2012 is put on energy conservation and security, expanding the range of value-added services”, — stressed Head of Customer Service of Orelenergo Zhanna Peshekhonova.
