The second year in a row the emergency service of energy supply, established on the basis of IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division, was recognized the best among the emergency services of the Orel region.
At the summing up of the work of the regional territorial subsystem of the Unified state system of prevention and emergency response in 2011 Division’s Director Alexander Letyagin as Head of the regional emergency service was given an appreciation of the Governor of the Orel region. Orelenergo deputy director for security Pavel Lyubimov received the challenge cup from the Chief of the General Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry of the Orel region Alexander Novikov.
To perform the tasks dealing with emergencies involving power outages of consumers, on the basis of IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division 60 emergency and recovery crews were created composed of 218 people and 87 units of vehicles and special equipment. The crews are provided with all tooling and devices needed for the performance of any set of works when eliminating unplanned outages, including, during stable and trouble-free operation at maximum loads.
In late December of the last year, the commission of the General Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Orel region conducted a routine inspection of the civil defense together with holding the command-staff exercises in two municipal districts: Livensky and Dolzhansky. District emergency services of energy supply created on the site of Livensky and Dolzhansky Districts of Electrical Networks of Orelenergo took part in that event.
Representatives of the territorial administration of the Russian Emergencies Ministry praised highly the readiness of Orel power engineers to carry out the tasks of civil defense, elimination of emergencies of various kinds. District energy supply services were recognized the best. Diplomas were given to the Chiefs of Livensky District of Electrical Networks Nikolay Levin and Dolzhansky DEN Alexander Shubin.
