Commissioning of modern feeding centers, such as the 110/10 kV substation “Boiler’s” and outgoing power lines of the 110 kV, 110/10 kV substation “Springs”, reconstruction of the substation 110/6 kV “Hothouse” opened up new opportunities for the regional center, ensured the increase of reliability of power supply of existing consumers of the Kursk region, as well as the opportunity for technological connection of new customers.

“The efficient development of the industrial sector, the social sphere, reliable functioning of the housing and communal systems, light, warmth and comfort of residents in each house of the Kursk region depends on your professional and stable operation. New channels are based on fiber-optic communication lines. They connect Districts of Electrical Networks with nodes of telecom operators. As part of the transition to the target model of operational and technological management the channels of remote control and communication were switched over to the Grid Control Center of Kurskenergo from former production depots.

The modernization of metering in the retail market is being continued. Until 2020, the program is planned to replace more than two hundred thousand meters.
