For 11 months of 2011 IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division has received 4630 applications for the technological connection to the grid of the division with a total capacity of 232.64 MW, signed 3568 contracts for the implementation of technological connection of power installations of consumers with a total capacity of 108.99 MW.
Among the consumers connected to the grid of Smolenskenergo for the reporting period, 1324 are individuals (connected capacity up to 15 kW) and 410 businesses, who have applied for technological connection up to 750 kW. For the reporting period a number of large facilities has been connected, including an industrial and warehouse complex (1940 kW), a shopping center with parking of vehicles (950 kW).
For 11 months of the year many socially significant facilities have been connected, including Specialized Regional State Unitary Enterprise “Rehabilitation center for children and adolescents with disabilities “Cherry” (home for disabled children) with its power (495 kW), a water tower of Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Spring” (6 kW), a block-modular boiler-house in Khokhlovskiy school (13 kW), a center for people with poor mental and psychological development “Clear springs” of the Foundation for the development of medical education and social therapy “Lemniscate” (15 kW), a building of the Smolensk Regional Pathology Institute (10 kW), boiler-houses for the Administrations of Velizhsky (40 kW) and Gagarinsky (10 kW) urban settlements, as well as facilities of the Russian Orthodox Church. In 2011 the division has connected Baltutinskaya municipal secondary school (75.3 kW) and a kindergarten for 150 children of Regional State Unitary Enterprise “Capital Construction Office of the Smolensk region” (161 kW) to its grid.
