Throughout the year, the number of submitted requests for technological connection is increasing in Orelenergo. For 10 months of 2011 specialists of Orel division of IDGC of Centre have processed about three thousand applications for technological connection of consumers to the grid of the division. For the reporting period the division has concluded more than two thousand contracts for technological connection to the electric grid with a total capacity of 40.3 MW, which is 44% higher than the same period last year.
In order to improve energy supply of housing and utilities infrastructure and industry IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo offers a range of additional services. Thus, one of the most popular at the moment in the Orel region is operational and technical control and maintenance of electrical networks. From the beginning of the year, 186 legal entities have applied for the provision of these services to the division.
More than 6 500 customers have requested additional services, and about 500 customers — on the issues of power supply quality, trimming of trees, replacement of crossovers, poles, calls about electricity theft. More than ten thousand inhabitants of the Orel region have received their consultations from specialists. Most of the questions concerned the procedure for technological connection, replacement of electric energy meters.
To date, socially relevant and in demand are services of Orelenergo for installation and maintenance of street lighting networks in settlements of the Orel region. For 11 months 43 requests have been received to improve the lighting of rural streets. Over 6 000 applications have been received from local residents regarding the installation, sealing and verification of metering devices.
