Yarenergo develops the trade union movement

IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division, Yaroslavl territorial organization of the public association “Russian Electric Utilities Trade Union” and public organization “Association of trade union organizations of the Yaroslavl region” have signed a cooperation agreement.

The main purpose of the agreement is the accumulation of federal and regional experience in the field of social policy. The parties intend to participate in joint projects, organize events, aimed at establishing a constructive dialogue between staff and management of the company, between Yaroslavl power engineers and their colleagues from other parts of the country.

The participants of the agreement are confident that, through a partnership of the employer and trade union organization, performance will continue to grow while increasing social benefits. Sharing knowledge, introduction of uniform standards of interaction between energy companies and the unions will raise the social and labor relations to a new level.

“The objectives of the trade union of Yarenergo and branch management are very similar. This applies to safety, special clothing, certification of work places and social protection of our personnel. We are partners and the number of our union is increasing every year”- said Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division director Igor Solonikov.
