IDGC of Centre — Kostromaenergo division is actively engaged with three higher schools in the city within the concluded agreements and cooperation agreements. In 2011, 20 students from three universities have had their practice at the division: Kostroma State Agricultural Academy, Kostroma State University after N.A. In addition, training and retraining of Kostromaenergo specialists is done in several specialized schools in the regions — Ivanovo State Power Engineering University, the Training Center “Power Engineering” in Penza, the Training Center “Energetik” in Kirov. Total by the end of 2011 more than nine hundred Kostromaenergo employees will improve their qualifications in these training centers, 3.2 million rubles will be spent on this.
“Every year the requirements for the qualification of our staff are increasing, as the branch is increasing its proportion of high-tech equipment, operation of which requires special training,” — said Head of HR Office of IDGC of Centre — Kostromaenergo division Olga Nikitina.
