14.11.2011

For 10 months 2011 896 employees of IDGC of Centre — Belgorodenergo division have been trained, 584 of them have received additional and related specialties. More than 2.8 million rubles have been spent on these purposes.

Measures have been implemented to develop the human resources pool, work with young professionals, improve the management capacity of managers and qualifications of specialists. Traditionally, Belgorodenergo pays special attention to questions of career — guidance of the younger generation and recruiting young professionals. This year Belgorodenergo has employed more than 60 young professionals: graduates from Ivanovo State Power University, Belgorod State Technological University after V.G. Shukhov, Gubkin branch of Moscow State Open University, Kharkov Polytechnic Institute and other institutions of higher and specialized secondary education.

Each year, students of specialized educational institutions have their practice in Belgorodenergo. Most of them are then taken to the division on a permanent job. In early 2012 60 graduates plan to come to have their practice. Regular meetings with school students of the region also allow to interest the younger generation in the field of utilities, at which specialists of HR Office select high school graduates who have decided to link their future with utilities and want to go to specialized higher institutions.

As Head of HR Office of the division Alexander Verzun noted, Belgorodenergo pays great attention to improving the skills of their employees and work with personnel reserve: “We are constantly interacting with the universities to provide professional growth and self-training of employees. In 2012 500 employees of the division plan to have their training”.
