Every year the number of electricity consumers, applying to IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division, increases. For nine months 2011 the division has received 11 911 requests for additional services that is by 5028 requests more compared to the same period last year. This is due to the increasing demand for such services, ongoing development of the region as a whole. The most popular and relevant service is to replace an electricity meter. 7526 applications have been received by the division for inspection, replacement and installation of meters.
The work on upgrading and maintenance of street lighting networks, maintenance of power lines in proper condition is considered to be socially significant. With the development of the region the division receives requests from clients for services for the removal of restrictions on the use of land (removal of the grid).
Staff of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division together with representatives of municipal authorities performs work on improving street lighting. For nine months 2011 the division has contracted the administrations of Ivanovo village council of Sampursky district, Streletsky, Gorelsky, Pokrovo-Prigorodsky village councils of Tambovsky district on the installation of street lighting fixtures.
In addition to conducting work on the retrofitting of the districts’ street lighting the division’s specialists perform their contract obligation for repair, maintenance and commissioning of electrical equipment, testing and checks of high voltage equipment, electrical protection gear, advised on design and construction of the external power supply networks.
During the reporting period, 10 497 contracts for the provision of additional services have been entered.
