Tver power engineers continue to install street lighting in districts of the region

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division continue their work to install street lighting in district towns. In the town of Torzhok within the investment program 50 lighting fixtures have been installed on Pushkin Square, as well as on the streets of Shopping malls, Pustin and Sominka. A 0.4 kV conductor was renovated on the street of Pustin with replacement of the wire for a self-supporting insulated conductor with its total length of about 330 m. In total the branch spent more than 400 thousand rubles on electrification of Torzhok.

Thanks to the activities carried out the lighting situation is dramatically improved. At the moment, experts of IDGC of Centre continue the lighting installation work in the city, where in the near future 50 lighting fixtures more will be installed.

Tver power engineers plan to repair street lighting networks of schools and kindergartens in Torzhok, as well as repair the indoor transformer station.

According to Deputy Chief Engineer — Head of distribution networks Office Vyacheslav Kovalev, under the investment program much work has been performed to improve the quality of street lighting in districts of the region. A reliable and uninterrupted power supply of consumers is provided thanks to a timely upgrading of the electric grid equipment.
