The Human Resources Policy of IDGC of Centre, focused on the comprehensive development and support of high professional level of the staff, training and skill improvement of all categories of employees, has been successfully implemented in Tambov branch of the Company.
For nine months 2011 560 employees of Tambovenergo have improved their skills. 369 managers and specialists and 101 workers have had their training and improvement. The priority was given to training of crews and operators. Training was conducted according to training courses, developed based on state standards and model curricula.
In the area of continuing professional education Tambovenergo collaborates with institutions such as the Tambov State Technical University, Ivanovo State Power University, Institute of Professional Civil Service and other educational institutions, conducting training and skill development of employees of the power industry. An efficient system of continuous training and retraining of employees throughout their employment in the branch is in place in Tambovenergo.
Total for 2011 Tambovenergo plans to send more than 600 employees to specialized courses. In order to attract young professionals to work, for vocational guidance of students and the formation of an active reserve of the personnel of the branch the power engineers will continue to work with the Tambov State Technical University and specialized high schools of the city.
