Children and teachers present at the lesson with some genuine interest listened to the power engineers, asking questions related to the work of power engineers and the observance of safety rules near power facilities. Especially the children remembered CPR and first aid for electric shock, which was introduced to the audience by Head of Occupational Health and Environmental Safety Department of the division Andrey Sharin with the use of the simulator Gosha. At the end of the lesson Head of Customer Relationship Management Department of the division Zhanna Peshekhonova invited the children to complete a questionnaire on the passed material. All the pupils coped with the task as «excellent». «I can say with confidence that these lessons are very useful and necessary for both children and adults — said the school director Natalia Pomelova. — Children and teachers have learned a lot of useful information and remembered the simple rules for electrical safety, which will help to save their health and lives. We, in turn, take the learning system, developed by employees of Orelenergo, for lessons on life safety.»
Conducting such studies significantly reduces the risk of accidents at power facilities. Power engineers at their studies in detail spoke about the dangers posed by electricity, explained the rules for the use of electrical household appliances and behavior while being near power facilities, showed cartoons and distributed training books and coloring pages on the subject.
