The administration of the urban settlement of Danilov of the Yaroslavl region expressed their thanks to Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division director Igor Solonikov for the performance of work to provide lighting of the Victory Park and the ski-run «Gorushka». Letter of thanks were handed by the head of the urban settlement Dmitry Kamkin.
The work on the construction of the line of lighting at the ski base in the village of Gorushka was performed in accordance with «Program of reconstruction and development of street lighting 2011» of Yarenergo. To implement the work on the lighting of the «small ring» of the piste the power engineers installed control boxes for street lighting, installed 1.1 km of self-supported insulated wire (SIW), mounted 13 new poles, installed 20 street lighting fixtures, some of which are installed onto the existing 10 kV lines. The plans of the division are to provide lighting for the big ring of the piste.
The piste of the village of Gorushka is very popular among city dwellers. Daily 200 young athletes ski as well as adult athletes have their training and competitions at various levels are held from regional to nationwide.
Power engineers of IDGC of Centre-Yarenergo division helped make a big deal. Making this line of lighting will allow to use the piste in the evening, which will make it possible doing physical training and sports for city residents who are able to do it only after the working day", — said Dmitry Kamkin.
Town (urban settlement) of Danilov of the Yaroslavl region has 16 thousand inhabitants. It was founded in the mid-13th century as the village of Danilovskoe by the youngest son Daniel of Alexander Nevsky and in 1777 it was transformed into the county town of Danilov. Currently the basis of industrial infrastructure is Danilovsky cheese-factory, Danilovsky bakery, poultry farm and a garment factory. A famous Soviet actor, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Alexey Makarovich Smirnov was born in Danilov.
