Belgorodenergo connected a boarding house for veterans and an orphan asylum to their networks

IDGC of Centre — Belgorodenergo division supplied electricity to new buildings for war veterans, orphans and displaced people from dilapidated housing. The total capacity of connected facilities this year amounted to 906.5 kW. More than 200 families were able to move into new homes.

Belgorodenergo actively participates in regional and federal programs, implementing plans to build new houses for the poor and socially vulnerable citizens, young and large families, to orphans and war veterans. To supply these facilities dozens of kilometers of new power lines, modern substations are being commissioned.

In Belovsky rural settlement a whole street of houses for veterans appeared which were connected to the division’s electric grid. More than 3.5 kilometers of street lighting were constructed, new modern fixtures with energy-saving lamps, which give a powerful, yet soft light were installed on this street.

Electricity is provided to over a dozen of single and duplex homes on the street of the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Kursk in settlement of Rakitnoe, which were built under the program of housing construction for orphans and children left without parental care.

During the construction and reconstruction of power facilities the most modern technology were used. “Energy-saving lighting fixtures with sodium bulbs, cable of cross-linked polyethylene, metering and distribution cabinets with electricity meters of consumers and many others — the equipment that meets modern standards. It will operate for long and with reliability, providing uninterrupted supply of electricity to consumers, ”- said a leading engineer of the distribution networks Office of the division, Pavel Kosov.
