On behalf of General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC Igor Makovskiy, a seminar on road safety was held in Nizhny Novgorod, which was attended by employees of the mechanization and transport services of the branches of the Companies, as well as JSC Motor Transport Enterprise.
The event discussed issues of the current activities of transport services of the branches, as well as the operation of motor and specialized vehicles. In addition, one of the important topics for consideration was activities to reduce risks of road traffic accidents and their consequences.
Within the framework of the seminar, a meeting was held with representatives of manufacturing plants of specialized vehicles, which are operated in the branches of the Companies. The participants were shown modern models of auto-hydraulic lifts, loader cranes, dump trucks and other special-purpose vehicles.
“The operation of vehicles requires compliance with the same serious safety standards as in production work. The specialized services should approach the maintenance, use and assessment of the performance of vehicles with full responsibility, since a malfunction can lead to an accident on the way or an accident directly at the facility, threaten the life and health of both personnel and the people around,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
