Operating personnel of 17 branches of the energy companies were mobilized due to adverse weather conditions. Power engineers of the Bryansk, Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kostroma, Kursk, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Orel, Tambov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula, Yaroslavl and Tver regions continue working around the clock.
At the moment, the elimination of technological disruptions caused to the power grid infrastructure by a powerful cyclone, accompanied by freezing rain, gusty winds and sleet, continues. Employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region promptly go to the place of outages and eliminate their causes. The work of the contact centre of the companies has been strengthened, temporary information centres are on duty around the clock.
A total of 2,621 crews of 9,587 production personnel and 4,380 specialized vehicles are ready to perform possible emergency recovery work in all regions where Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region operate. Mobile diesel generator sets are used to provide backup power supply to socially significant facilities.
