Power engineers are restoring energy supply to residents of regions that have suffered from a thunderstorm with hurricane winds up to 23 metres per second and hail. In a number of districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the disaster was accompanied by tornado phenomena. Employees of the power grid companies were mobilized in advance and were ready for the disaster. In 6 regions of the service area of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region there is a high alert mode, in the Nizhny Novgorod and Kostroma regions — a special mode of operation.
