IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region in the framework of RIF-2019 signed regulatory agreements with four regions of the Central Federal District on the development of the electric grid complex

Today, 14 February, within the framework of the Russian Investment Forum, held in Sochi, IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region has signed agreements with the Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel and Ryazan regions aimed at the long-term development of the power grid complex of these regions.

Governor of the Ryazan Region Nikolay Lyubimov, Chairman of the Government of the Orel Region Andrey Klychkov, Acting Governor of the Kursk Region Roman Starovoit, Acting Head of the Administration of the Lipetsk Region Igor Artamonov and General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy signed the relevant documents.

The agreements were signed as part of an instruction from Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, in order to ensure sustainable socio-economic growth of the territories and determine the conditions for the implementation of regulated activity in the provision of services for transmission of electric energy.

We are talking about the implementation of the Integrated Program for the modernization of the electric grid complex of the regions using digital technologies and the fixing of strategic relationships for the consolidation of power grid assets on the basis of PJSC ROSSETI’s Group of Companies. The agreements recorded a number of undertakings based on long-term tariff regulation. Earlier, IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region already signed similar agreements with the Belgorod, Kaluga, Vladimir, Voronezh and Tver regions and the Udmurt Republic. “The agreements will significantly improve the efficiency of our strategic cooperation with the regions in terms of the implementation of measures for the modernization of the electric grid complex using digitalization technologies within the framework of long-term tariff regulation. The result will be an improvement in the quality of electric energy transmission services, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region.
