IDGC of Centre approved the repair program for 2016

IDGC of Centre approved the repair program for 2016. As part of its implementation the company will perform in the regions of its service area (11 subjects of the Central Federal District) a large amount of activities aimed at improving the reliability of power supply of industrial enterprises, agro-industrial facilities, the residential sector, and the social sphere. In total, for this purpose it is planned to spend about 1.95 billion rubles. IDGC of Centre is planning to begin the major repair work in April.

Specialists of the company will perform comprehensive repair of 185 substations of 35-110 kV and overhaul of about 4.5 thousand km of overhead power lines (Conductors) of 35-110 kV and more than 12 thousand km of overhead lines of 0.4-10 kV, 4,519 transformer substations; they will clear 11,300 hectares of ROWs of 0.4-110 kV Conductors.

The largest number of substations of 35-110 kV, according to the plan, will be repaired in the branches of Belgorodenergo (29), Smolenskenergo and Tverenergo (27 in each). The largest volume of overhaul of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines is planned in Kurskenergo (2.57 thous. km to be repaired), in Smolenskenergo (2.37 thous. km), and in Belgorodenergo (2.26 thous. km).

Integrated repairs will be performed, including, at large power facilities that feed industrial and social infrastructure, which is of great importance to the regions where the company operates.

"The implementation of the repair program of IDGC of Centre will ensure the quality and reliability of electricity supply to customers in 11 subjects of the Central Federal District, and will greatly contribute to the smooth and stable operation of electric grid facilities of the company in these regions during the autumn-winter peak load," stresses Deputy General Director – Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin.
