Senior representatives of IDGC of Centre took part in the CFO Forum of energy industry

The Forum of CFOs of energy industry was held in Moscow, organized by the portal CFO-Russia.ru and the Club of CFOs. It was attended by vice-presidents of finance, financial directors, chief accountants, directors of corporate finance of major Russian companies; heads of treasury, planning and budget departments, tax departments, director of controlling, directors of internal audit and risk management.

Participants discussed the general situation and the main trends of development of the energy industry in 2016, and features of the current macroeconomic and political conditions, as well as such important issues today as reduction of operating expenses and collection of receivables.

Among the speakers of the forum there were representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, professional trade associations, the largest electricity generating and grid companies. IDGC of Centre was represented by Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance Sergey Rumyantsev. In his report he formulated the most problematic issues arising from the formation of own sources of investment programs and proposals for their solution. "It was a constructive dialogue on the most pressing issues of today’s industry agenda," stressed Sergey Rumyantsev, commenting on the results of the event. "The participants demonstrated their desire to solve them in a system and balanced way, including by bringing the legal framework into line with current realities."
