IDGC of Centre sets enhanced control over the reliability of power supply to consumers during the holidays

On the eve of public holidays on 21-23 February IDGC of Centre implemented a set of measures aimed at ensuring reliable power supply to consumers.

All grid equipment has been set at the most reliable circuit arrangement. Special control is set for the operation of electric equipment of substations and networks that feed socially significant facilities and critical infrastructure. Planned repairs for the holidays have been completed. Additional measures have been taken to enhance fire safety measures, security of facilities and antiterrorist protection. Interaction with territorial units of EMERCOM and regional and municipal executive authorities, branches of PJSC "FGC UES", and territorial power grid organizations has been organized.

For rapid response and emergency elimination there is around the clock duty of responsible persons. Staff of first responding and restoration crews, equipment with necessary tools, materials and gear has been checked. The condition of vehicles and machinery has been checked.

432 first responding mobile crews are on duty around the clock, 90 repair crews of increased mobility consisting of 528 people and 166 vehicles are available for first responding and restoration operations. If necessary, own forces can be used to eliminate technological violations in the territory of the Company - 1,441 crews, 7,709 people, 2,465 automobile and specialized vehicles, as well as resources of contractors.
