Governor of the Belgorod region Yevgeny Savchenko awarded General Director of IDGC of Centre Oleg Isaev Certificate of Merit "For the conscientious and fruitful work, great personal contribution to the development of the fuel and energy complex of the Belgorod region". The corresponding decree was signed by the head of the Belgorod region last week.
The Belgorod region is one of the largest and most important regions in the service area of IDGC of Centre. Only in 2015 the company spent more than 4 billion rubles on the development of the electric grid complex. Most of the monetary funds were invested in improving the reliability of the grid infrastructure, the construction of new power lines in residential areas for individual housing construction, modernization of old and overage networks, grid connection of industrial facilities and social services.
In preparation for the autumn-winter maximum load IDGC of Centre in the region repaired 2,700 kilometres of overhead and cable power lines, 88 substations of 35-110 kV, and over 804 transformer substations of 0.4-10 kV. More than 1,200 km of networks were constructed and reconstructed.
The company carries out extensive work to meet the energy needs of the region. Since the beginning of the year IDGC of Centre has performed 10,503 grid connection contracts with total capacity of 172.8 MW, by the end of December, according to the plan, this figure will have increased to 11,300. Large agribusiness companies were connected to the power grid, power supply was provided to 110 facilities of small and medium enterprises with total customer contract demand of 6.5 MW and a number of social facilities: 27 kindergartens, 8 schools, 2 fitness centres and two cultural institutions. As part of the regional program "Providing affordable and comfortable housing and utility services to residents of the Belgorod region for 2014-2020" the capability to connect to the grid was provided for more than three thousand plots for individual housing construction. All work for connecting to networks is carried out with the use of modern electrical equipment, providing a high level of electrical safety.
