Yarenergo’s management and Governor of the Yaroslavl region Sergey Yastrebov discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation

A working meeting of Governor of the Yaroslavl region Sergey Yastrebov and Acting Director of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division Alexander Kornilov took place.

The parties discussed the current situation, the prospects of development of production, as well as the expansion of cooperation between the energy company and the Regional Government in the framework of ongoing projects of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division.

In order to promote cooperation aimed at improving the investment climate and sustainable development of the regional economy, improvement of the environment and the social agenda of the Yaroslavl region the Government of the region and "Yarenergo" will sign an agreement on social and economic partnership. The document will set out the obligations of the enterprise in terms of employment and tax deductions.

"Every business has its own interest - profit making, while budget has its own - to receive taxes. And if we respect each other’s interests, our cooperation will be mutually beneficial," said Governor of the Yaroslavl region Sergey Yastrebov. "Given the instability of the economic situation in the country, we would like to take into account all possible risks in order to comply with our obligations to the population. We also need to fulfill the terms of an agreement with the Ministry of Finance to obtain preferential loans for the region. The budget of the Yaroslavl region depends on your productive activity, and I am ready to render necessary assistance to continue your stable operation. Especially the stability of energy supply is an important component of well-being of inhabitants of the region."

During the meeting Acting Director of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division Alexander Kornilov got the support of Governor in addressing the issue of consolidation of electricity networks in the region and expressed his intention to sign an agreement on social and economic cooperation with the regional government.

"In addition to the already existing energy consumers, in the region there are new large industrial facilities, residential communities being built, cluster are being created, so the service to connect new facilities to the power grid is popular and relevant. In 2015, energy consumption increased by 3%," noted Alexander Kornilov. "Yarenergo constantly develops the energy sector in the region so that the growing consumption to have no effect on the level of reliability of electricity supply to residents of the region, and power supply to match the pace of economic development."

In turn, Sergey Yastrebov expressed satisfaction with the work of IDGC of Centre in the region, and showed confidence in further effective cooperation of the company with the Government of the region.
