A representative of IDGC of Centre won the regional round of the All-Russian contest "Best Manager of a structural unit"

Chief of Oboyansky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division Evgeny Lunin won the regional round of the contest "Best Manager of a structural unit - 2014" in the category "Energy". In a solemn ceremony Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Mikhailov handed the award to the power engineer.

"Best Manager of a structural unit" is held annually on the initiative of the Free Economic Society of Russia and the International Academy of Management (IAM), with the support of the Council of the Federation. Its main purpose is to identify the most successful managers of departments of organizations and enterprises, improve management of economic complex. The first stage of the competition takes place in regions, winners become participants in the final, nationwide stage. This year the results of the final round will be announced in late April.

Evgeny Lunin has been working at Kurskenergo for 15 years. He began his career as an electrician for repair of relay protection and automation. He acquired needed experience in managing a production team, skills to talk to people while working in 2007 - 2011 at Medvensky Distribution Zone - chief of electricity metering and distribution service, head of the department of labour protection and safety, deputy chief of the Distribution Zone. Under his leadership the company implemented a range of measures, which allowed to reduce the loss of electric power in the grid, decrease interruptions in electricity supply to consumers. In 2011 he headed Oboyansky Distribution Zone, which occupies leading positions among Distribution Zones of Kurskenergo.

"Evgeny knows the power industry well, therefore he is able to fulfill any important and complex orders efficiently and on time. He really enjoys his work, being as an example for the people who he works with, and together with them does everything to make the electric grid complex of the Kursk region operate reliably," stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky.
