In 2014 IDGC of Centre for the first time implemented "Mobile Solution" to execute an innovative project to implement a program of repair and maintenance of electrical grids and optimize inspections and diagnostics of electrical equipment and power lines.
"Mobile Solution" is a mobile device (tablet) with the software package integrated with the ERP-system (SAP). It allows power engineers in the field to assess the state of power equipment, enter data in the ERP-system (SAP), to produce photo and video recording of revealed damage to the electrical grid, eliminating the possibility of errors. This evaluation is more objective.
"One of the main challenges facing the grid company is to ensure the reliability of electricity supply to consumers. The implementation of this innovative solution has allowed us at an early stage to identify defects in the electric grid facilities of the company, in a short time to troubleshoot, and thus make a more qualitative leap in providing the required level of reliability of electrical grids," stressed First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin.
