In 2014 IDGC of Centre invested 1.4 billion rubles into the development of electric grid facilities in the Voronezh region

25 February 2015

IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division summed up the results of the investment program implementation in 2014. The branch exceeded all of its key performance indicators. The actual development of capital investments amounted to 1 billion 399.97 million rubles (excluding VAT), which is higher than the target values by almost 9%. Fixed assets commissioning reached 1 billion 472.83 million rubles (excluding VAT) - 14% more than planned.

As part of the investment program implementation Voronezh power engineers carried out in the past year renovation and construction of 452.39 km of power lines and also upgraded substations and other power facilities with aggregate capacity of 199.04 MVA, which is also higher than the expected scope.

Among the most significant projects of the investment program one should note the re-equipment of 110 kV Substation #20 in Voronezh (two power transformers of 40 MVA, limiting reactors, 10 kV indoor switchgear bays were installed at the power facility). And also - the reconstruction of the 110 kV Substation "Usman-2" with changing its voltage class, which is the feeding centre of the villages of Babyakovo, Repnoye, Alexandrovka, Otradnoye and part of the settlement of Novaya Usman. Currently at the substation "Usman-2" work on the second launch facility is completing, and in the near future it is planned to install additional equipment of relay protection and automation. The renewed energy facility will be called "Rainbow", its commissioning will create an opportunity for grid connection of new customers, including a creamery, high-rise apartment complexes, and cottage settlements.

In the second largest city in the region, Borisoglebsk, Voronezh power engineers performed in 2014 the reconstruction of the 35 kV Substation "Tantsyrey" as a result of which the output of the power facility was increased by 2.5 times. This made it possible to connect to power grids a new urban water intake facility "Rostan", which will significantly improve the quality of water supply to Borisoglebsk residents and businesses.

In Ramonsky district specialists of Voronezhenergo completed the work on the electric grid infrastructure for facilities of LLC "Zarechnoye" - one of the largest meat processing complexes in Russia. Under the grid connection contract, experts of Voronezhenergo installed the second power transformer of 10 MVA at the 110 kV Substation "Stupino" that feeds the enterprise, and also connected the main and backup 10 kV power lines. The maximum capacity of connected power installations was 3 MW. Fulfillment of the obligations under the contract allowed to assign the second category of reliability to the substation "Stupino" and thereby create the necessary technical conditions for a continuous production cycle at facilities of the meat processing complex.
