IDGC of Centre summed up the work for 2014 to provide consumers with quality electricity

4 February 2015

In 2014 power engineers regularly measured the quality of electricity. In general, the work was carried out for periodic quality control of electricity in 7,925 control points. Repeatedly checks were performed on requests of consumers, in particular, the work was done under 2,554 valid complaints about the quality of electricity.

IDGC of Centre constantly develops preventive and corrective measures to bring the indicators in line with regulatory requirements - the reconstruction of the grid is performed, cross sections of wires are increased, voltage level is regulated, load is redistributed, and others. To perform work on power quality monitoring and verification of calls of consumers the power engineers fully inspect the grid using specialized measuring instruments. Specialists of IDGC of Centre use multifunction devices to measure all indicators of quality of electric energy and to assess their compliance with the values of established standards.

In 2015 IDGC of Centre will continue providing reliable and high-quality operation of the distribution grid complex in its service area.
