Governor of the Smolensk region thanked IDGC of Centre for assistance in emergency response

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division and General Director of the Company Oleg Isaev received appreciation of the Administration of the Smolensk region and Governor of the Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovsky for help in emergency response related to the violation of the transport supply in the city of Velizh.

November 2, 2014 in the city of Velizh in the Smolensk region there was a threat of collapse of a road bridge over the Western Dvina River. IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division was involved to perform work on the restoration of transportation in Velizh with temporary crossings, which are installed by departments of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Thanks to the immediate help of the power engineers the work on the emergency response was successfully completed.
