IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division completed the construction of the 35/10 kV substation "Mansurovo" in Soviet district of the Kursk region.
The new feeding centre was constructed to ensure connection to the electric grid of the branch of large facilities of CJSC "Agrocomplex "Mansurovo"- one of the largest investment projects in the region in the field of agriculture. With its commissioning the power supply circuit of the existing customers of Soviet district will also be optimized and the problem of grid restrictions will be solved.
In addition, the substation "Mansurovo" commissioning can create reserve capacity for rapidly developing agricultural production in the eastern part of the Kursk region.
Investments in the project amounted to more than 36 million rubles. Currently at the substation the commissioning is coming to an end. Facilities of the agricultural complex "Mansurovo" will be powered with it by the end of the current year.
The constructed in the last two years substation "Mansurovo" took the most advanced technologies, and today it is one of the most high-tech substations in the Kursk region. The site of 900 square metres has a high load power transformer, a 35 kV vacuum circuit breaker, as well as a block-modular building of 10 kV switchgear. The applied at the power facility system for collecting and transmitting information provides process control and remote control of its equipment. To connect the substation "Mansurovo" with the power grid of the region the 35 kV power line "Kshen - Horn Well" was constructed with its length of 1.6 km.
""Mansurovo" is the second substation constructed by Kurskenergo from scratch in recent years," stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director Alexander Rudnevsky. "The commissioning of the new high-tech power facility is Kurskenergo’s contribution to the development of agriculture in the region, to ensure reliable power supply of the population of the Kursk region."
