Tverenergo set a special mode of operation

Due to extreme fire conditions developed in the Tver region and entering of the state of emergency in the territory of the Tver region IDGC of Centre has set a special mode of operation.

The branch established operational headquarters, which interact with the Territorial Emergency Office and district authorities to continuously monitor the situation in the zone of fire for the prediction and prevention of possible risks that could cause disruptions in electricity supply to consumers. Power engineers perform more frequent checks of compliance with fire safety conditions at power facilities of the region. They inspected equipment of operating personnel with inventory, gear, and power facilities for provision with protective equipment and special vehicles. Additional inspections of electrical installations and power lines were organized to prevent these fires moving to them. The branch organized duty of decision makers and mobile crews.

Tverenergo warns residents of the Tver region on the need for strict observance of the rules of conduct in exclusion zones of power facilities.
