IDGC of Centre held the opening ceremony of the season of construction crews of the electric grid complex. For a month and a half 220 students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of the Central Federal District will be working at power facilities of the company, applying their theoretical knowledge into practice.
Before starting work, the students had a special course on occupational safety and as a result of the final examination received the second group of electrical safety. Each of them has a dedicated mentor who will monitor compliance with work rules, safety standards and provide methodological and practical guidance.
During the season of construction crews the future power engineers will be able to participate in competitions for the best construction crew of the electric grid complex, best video, best photo, best article or story and best wall newspaper. Summarizing and rewarding winners will take place at the closing ceremony of the 55th Anniversary All-Russian rally of student teams, which will be held in November this year in the State Kremlin Palace.
IDGC of Centre provided its forms of rewarding members of construction crews. The best students will be entered into the external talent pool of the youth and will receive priority in the event of subsequent employment.
Organization of work of construction crews is conducted within the framework of development of IDGC of Centre’s cooperation with leading technical universities in the country. According to the power engineers, work at the company will significantly increase the level of training of graduates of technical colleges, will assist them in practice to get a clearer picture of their future profession and as a result will help meet the needs of IDGC of Centre for highly qualified professionals.
