Branches of IDGC of Centre expand cooperation with the regional authorities and the territorial divisions of federal agencies in preventing electrical injuries to third parties at electric grid facilities. In late June the corresponding agreement was signed between IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division and the Department of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Voronezh region. In addition, under the initiative of Voronezhenergo in the same period the current agreement between the branch and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Voronezh region "On Cooperation in the field of protection of population and territories from emergency situations of natural and man-made character" was amended, aimed at strengthening preventive measures against electrical injuries. The adopted documents secured agreement of the parties to jointly implement activities to prevent electrical injuries among the population and in particular among children. It is about development and implementation of regional target programs, preparation of regulations and guidance documents, making public awareness efforts in the media, etc.
Now the Voronezh branch of IDGC of Centre is considering conclusion of similar agreements with the Upper Don Department of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (RTN) and General Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Voronezh region.
Branches of IDGC of Centre systematically and consistently cooperate with regional authorities and divisions of federal agencies locally in the area of preventing electrical injuries. Interaction takes place in terms of informing the public about the need to comply with electrical safety rules; dealing with cases of finding third parties in exclusion zones near power lines and unauthorized dumps at power facilities, etc. Signing formal agreements brings this work to a new level, allowing to expand joint activities.
Currently, such agreements are already in place in most regions of the service area of IDGC of Centre, and some branches are planning to sign them in the near future. In July, according to the plans, a document on cooperation in preventing electrical injuries will be signed with representatives of the local authorities and the regional offices of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belgorodenergo and Kurskenergo, and in September by Tambovenergo. The scope of the agreement, which is also planned to be signed in July by Smolenskenergo with the city and regional education authorities and General Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Smolensk region, will be participation in the drafting and implementation of the regional target programs in the given area. And the Orel branch of IDGC of Centre together with General Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Office of the RTN in the Orel region intends to undertake measures to reduce the number of accidents with third parties at power facilities – the text of the relevant document has been already sent by the power company to these agencies for signature.
