Specialists of IDGC of Centre became participants of the second international scientific-practical conference "Smart Conductors: design and reconstruction" in St. Petersburg.
The conference brought together representatives of leading experts in the field of overhead power lines: managers and senior specialists of Departments of overhead lines, substations, innovative development of JSC "FGC UES", JSC "CIUS EES", Department of technological development and innovation of JSC "Russian Grids", experts of scientific, technical and design organizations, as well as manufacturers.
IDGC of Centre’s delegation was represented by Alexander Pilyugin - Deputy General Director for Technical Issues – Chief Engineer, Denis Yagodka - Deputy Director for Technical Issues - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division and Mikhail Kachan - Head of Operational and Technological Management Department.
At the conference, in collaboration with other participants, experts of IDGC of Centre discussed the strategic and conceptual issues of power grids. Compared to last year the list of topics under discussion was significantly expanded. R&D performance and project work at JSC "Russian Grids" and JSC "FGC UES", application and implementation of new technical solutions, designs and materials, their certification, and development of regulatory documents were actively discussed.
