In the night from 20 to 21 March 2014 in the Voronezh region as a result of storm wind damage occurred at 10-0.4 kV overhead lines that led to blackouts at consumers’. Power failures were observed in 19 districts of the region.
For the rapid restoration of the interrupted electricity supply of consumers first responding mobile crews, crews of distribution networks of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division were involved, which by 9:00 am 21.03.2014 quickly eliminated all the damage to power lines. In the first place the power supply was restored to social facilities.
A total of 28 crews of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division numbering 55 people and 34 special vehicles were involved in the elimination of the consequences of bad weather. Work progress was monitored by the operational headquarters of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division in cooperation with the territorial administration of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and regional authorities.
Currently, IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division is operating with a regular electricity supply circuit.
