Tverenergo has restored power supply of more than half of consumers de-energized due to bad weather yesterday

Specialists of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division continue to restore electricity supply in the region. As of 9.30 a. m. December 13 the power engineers energized about half of consumers, whose power supply was interrupted due to the passage through the region of the cyclone with sleet, freezing rain and strong wind. Power supply to the socially significant facilities of the region has been restored.

IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division continues to operate in a special mode. The restoration work involves all operational staff of the branch. 181 first responding and repair crews of 680 people, 181 special and off-highway vehicles (trucks, snow and swamp-going vehicles) are engaged in the work. To clear the approaches to the damaged power facilities and power lines staff of forestry and hunting management was involved. By the decision of the Crisis Management Centre of JSC «Russian Grids» crews of the branches of IDGC of Centre — Orel, Bryansk, Tambov, and Smolensk and the subsidiaries of the holding company — IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, IDGC of North-West, Moscow United Electric Grid were sent to the affected by bad weather areas in the Tver region. Resources of Valdai PMES and Setenergoservis enterprise were brought in.
