Power engineers of IDGC of Centre are restoring electricity supply

On the night of 17 to 18 November due to strong gusts of wind up to 25 m/s power outages of customers in the region are observed in the Yaroslavl region. In the area of disaster there are 12 municipal districts: Danilovsky, Nekrasovsky, Yaroslavlsky, Uglichsky, Tutaevsky, Rybinsky, Rostovsky, Nekouzsky, Myshkinsky, Lyubimsky, Borisoglebsky, and Bolsheselsky.

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division immediately began to restore the power supply. Yarenergo set the high alert operation mode, convened operational headquarters, which oversee the restoration work status. The power engineers are eliminating the consequences of the bad weather in cooperation with the territorial administration of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, and local district administrations. As of 8:00 a. m. on November 18 121 first responding and repair crews totaling 451 people were involved. The crews have 159 necessary vehicles.

Social facilities are being connected first. By the end of the day the power engineers plan to restore the interrupted power supply by the bad weather.
