IDGC of Centre announced the first results of the work of the commission to review the collective appeal of employees of a Distribution Zone of Orelenergo

Experts of the company and union representatives, who are members of the commission, presented the first results of their work and plan for further measures to stabilize the situation.

Chairman of the Orel regional organization of All-Russian Utilities Union Victor Zhuchkin reported that in the format of a constructive dialogue with the employees individual work was carried out on the detailed explanation of the provisions of the collective agreement and its implementation. All obligations of the Company under the collective agreement are currently being executed in full.

«Within the framework established in IDGC of Centre traditions the union officials are paying special attention to monitoring the performance of social protection of its employees, respecting their rights. With specialized divisions of the company, we are taking systematic efforts to improve working conditions in the company,» stressed Victor Zhuchkin.

In connection with the signing of 18 March 2013 Industry Tariff Agreement in the power industry of the Russian Federation for 2013-2015 and the introduction from July 1, 2013 of the increased, as compared to the approved in the collective agreement, base tariff rate the company is conducting relevant activities. With the management of JSC «Russian Grids» negotiations were made to develop a set of activities and bringing the provisions of the collective agreement to the requirements of the Industry Tariff Agreement. Economists of IDGC of Centre are considering options for the involvement of internal financial reserves to increase wages in the branches of the company, including in Orelenergo, within the business plan approved by the Board of Directors.

Please, be reminded that last week Orelenergo branch of IDGC of Centre received a collective appeal of employees of a Distribution Zone about non-fulfillment of the collective agreement in terms of wages. Drivers, electricians and other representatives of the main blue-collar occupations appealed to the company’s management, putting forward demands to the management of the branch of the grid company of the need to increase wages. The company promptly set up a commission to address the given issue.
