Power engineers became donors

Donor Day was held in the Executive Office of IDGC of Centre. This is the second event, which takes place in the company together with the Foundation for Children with Cancer and Blood Diseases «Give Life» and the initiative group «Donors to children». It aims to help children who suffer from blood cancer.

31 people took part in the action and about 14 litres of blood were received, which will be sent to the Federal Centre for Pediatric Oncology, Immunology and Hematology. Those workers of IDGC of Centre, who were not able to participate in the blood donation, brought children in need some personal care items.

The first action on blood donation was held in IDGC of Centre on August 1 last year. Then the employees of the company expressed their desire to make such actions regularly. Power engineers are sure that everyone is able to help children suffering from severe cancer and hematological diseases, so this time they gladly responded to the call to participate in the donation action again.

You should not forget that donors help to survive the children who are being treated for cancer. For children with blood diseases and blood cancer donors are the only hope.
