Management of IDGC of Centre took part in the investment forum

Management of IDGC of Centre took part in the “Forum Russia 2012”, organized by the investment company “Troika Dialog” and Sberbank of Russia. The Forum was held in Moscow from January 30 to February 4, 2012 for the fifth time and is recognized as one of the leading events of the financial industry in Russia and CIS countries. More than 100 Russian companies had meetings with Russian and foreign investors.

Among the main topics discussed by participants of the event — global changes in the world economy, the new realities faced by Russia in these conditions and the required changes in the economic policy.

The Forum held a panel discussion entitled “Privatisation: Interim Results”, which discussed the directions of the long-term strategy for the distribution grid complex, including plans for privatization to ensure the sustainable pulse of the development of IDGC/DGC, increasing their efficiency and acceleration of the modernization process of the Electric Grid infrastructure.

Management of IDGC of Centre held a series of individual meetings which representatives of major investment companies, pension funds and investment banks took their part in. The Company’s management presented the preliminary results of work for 2011. The investment community had great interest in the comments of the management on the Company’s tariff model in connection with the planned adoption of Resolution # 1178 “On the pricing in the area of regulated tariffs in the electricity industry”, plans to consolidate grid assets in the regions of IDGC of Centre, the approved innovative development program of the Company for 2011-2016.

Representatives of the investment community estimated the financial and economic indicators of IDGC of Centre for 2011 positively. The preliminary outlook for key indicators is as follows: revenue 68.1 billion rubles (growth over the previous year — 12,8%), EBITDA 13,6 billion rubles (growth — 23.7%), net profit 5.2 billion rubles (increase — 9.7%) and productive supply of electric energy 54.1 billion kWh (growth — 1.4%).
